Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic refused to comment media reports that US envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina talks Ambassador Richard Grenell had offered significant investments if Serbia recognizes Kosovo.
“No one is offering anything except recognition of Kosovo. If you know someone who is offering anything else, show me. Show me anyone who I promised an independent Kosovo, show me that person,” Vucic told reporters at the railway station in New Belgrade after the arrival of a train from China carrying equipment for the reconstruction of railways in Serbia.
He said he was worried about attacks on Serbs in Kosovo and the announced inspections and closure of Serb-owned pharmacies and appealed to the Kosovo Serbs to remain calm when faced with what he said are provocations from Pristina.
