The Serbian government has earmarked an additional 300 million Dinars for unspecified work on the Corridor 10 highway, Nova Ekonomija magazine reported on Monday.
According to the Official Gazette, the government has approved the funds for the Construction Ministry to secure the added funds needed for the Corridors Serbia roads company. The government document did not specify what exactly the money would be used for.
Nova Ekonomija said that this is the second time in as many months that the government has approved funds for work on the Corridor 10. The government earmarked around 17 million Euro for the Corridor 10 in September. That money was intended to secure a hill in the Grdelica Gorge, a road section whose builder experienced a number of problems, including landslides.
