The alleged corruption affair regarding arms sales and the factory ‘Krusik’ Valjevo, involving the father of Interior Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Branko Stefanovic, is a made-up story, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday.
“Stefanovic’s father has nothing to do with it. They are not saying that there were any illegal activities, but only the price is being talked about, and that has nothing to do with the company of Nebojsa Stefanovic,” Vucic told Prva TV.
The President also spoke about the person who revealed the alleged affair, Aleksandar Obradovic, saying he could not be treated as a whistleblower by law.
Vucic said that part of the opposition is making up affairs and that they are "arrogant towards everyone who wants a different Serbia".
He criticized coalition partners and people from his Serbian Progressive Party who remain silent to all the criticism."It is like they don't exist, they are silent,” he said.
