A Serbian national was arrested on a train in Slovenia when the police found him in possession of more than 13 kilograms of heroin, Slovenian media reported.

The man was part of the staff on a passenger train going from Turkey to Austria. The drugs, worth some 1.3 million Euro, were found in a travel bag in a compartment used by the train staff. The Slovenian police said the drugs were found at the Dobova station as the train entered the country.

Police inspector France Bozicnik told reporters that the bag belongs to a 35 year old Serbian national, adding that the bag contained 25 packets of heroin. He said the arrested man is suspected of being part of a drug trafficking network.
