The 1 of 5 Million Association, Women's Initiative of Serbia and Free Citizens Movement (PSG) called on all citizens to gather every day at 6 pm in front of the Central Prison in support of the "Krusik" whistle-blower, who was arrested for pointing to the connection between the Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic's father and arms trade.

The Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS) and the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia called for the release of an IT expert from the Krusik factory, who was a journalistic source for publishing the information on arms export deals related to the father of Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic.

The NIN weekly reported earlier that a person who allegedly provided reporters with information that the father of Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Branko, involved in arms trafficking, was given 30-day custody. The NIN said the public had not been informed of the case, and that a "covert operation by the authorities" took place after the publication of a text on arms trafficking on the international portal Arms Watch, in order to determine how the compromising documents reached journalists.
