US-based heat transfer products manufacturer Modine opened a factory in Serbia’s northern town of Sremska Mitrovic on Monday, in an investment worth over a million Euros which created 45 new jobs, the Beta news agency reported,

It planned to relocate a production line from its factory in Pocenia, in northern Italy, media reported earlier this year.

The Modine Serbia Director Dejan Nestorovic said the factory on 3,500 square meters “is a great step in our business.”

Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic also witnessed the opening ceremony, saying the important thing was that new jobs were for young people.
