Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic attended a commemoration for Serbs killed in the wars of the 20th century in the Bosnian town of Drvar and announced an investment of a million Euros to help the local authorities cover debts.

“We in Belgrade are prepared to invest in Drvar and the money will be used in the best possible way,” Vucic said, adding that money would be used for a water supply project. Drvar has a majority Serb population.

Vucic was accompanied by Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali and was joined for the commemoration and a visit to the birthplace of Gavrilo Princip, the man who assassinated Austro-Hungarian crown prince Archduke Franz Ferdinand, starting World War 1.
