Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin told Friday’s issue of Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti that demarcation between Serbs and Albanians should be implemented as soon as possible.

The sooner we achieve demarcation, the sooner Serbia can focus on itself and the Serbs outside its borders, he said andded that he would like to see his stand adopted by the president and government.

“There can be no stable, lasting and sustainable solution without an agreement between Serbs and Albanians and an agreement with the great powers. Something as important as this can’t be concluded without Russia, China, the US and European Union,” he said.

According to Vulin, the great powers are not advocates of demarcation. “They want a united and indivisible Kosovo. They do no want Serbia to grow stronger, to stop a Greater Albania,” he said.
