Russia’s ambassador to Serbia Alexandar Bocan - Harchenko tweeted on Monday the fact that Serbia and Russia were not invited to a sombre commemoration of the WW II beginning held in Poland on Sunday was not only a dangerous revision of history “but a blasphemy,” the Beta news agency reported.
Earlier, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic said Serbia was not invited because ”it’s Russia’s ally."
"In a series of countries today Nazi propaganda and efforts to justify Nazi criminals and their collaborators are carried out without any hesitancy," the ambassador wrote on his Twitter account.
Bocan – Harchenko added that "it is unacceptable to ignore such tendencies," and said the tragedy of the WW II should not happen ever again.
Those who failed to invite Russia and Serbia, he added, "were simply bad history students, in addition to politicisation"
