Three people were injured on the newly-opened Milos Veliki highway when masked attackers broke their windshields, Belgrade daily Blic said on Wednesday.

The police are searching for the attackers who ran out onto the highway and broke the windows on two cars with bats on the night of Tuesday-Wednesday, it added.

A video of one of the attacks was posted on social networks showing hooded men wielding bats and torches running to the cars and hitting them.

The police said they found the bats discarded by the road.
