Dragan Djilas, the leader of the opposition Freedom and Justice Party, said he would not attend the dialogue of the ruling and the opposition parties scheduled for Monday but that he does not dispute the others' right to take part in the talk.
According to Djilas, it is nonsense to discuss the topic of media freedom in the meeting while the media representatives do not attend it.
The previous talks, he stressed, were not constructive and even six months of having the best media cannot change the seven-year-long reality.
Democratic Party leader Zoran Lutovac said he did not suspect honest intentions of organisers of the talks and that the topic of free elections was legitimised there.
“By taking part in the talks, the authorities admitted that free elections do not exist,” said Lutovac adding that Serbia's President Aleksandar Cucic is ready to give the citizens back what belongs to them.
