Ivica Dacic, Serbia’s Foreign Minister said on Friday he would next week the 15th country which, according to him, suspended its recognition of Kosovo’s independence, the news agencies reported.

Talking to the state RTS TV, Dacic did not specify what country it was, adding there was “an agreement with the state top leaders to publish the name of the country next week.”

“We did not want to spite the Quint,” he said, referring to the recent joint statement by NATO Quint states regarding Belgrade – Pristina relations.

Dacic added that the unnamed country had already notified Pristina about its decision and reiterated that Belgrade would continue its diplomatic campaign to get more countries to reconsider the move to recognise Kosovo as an independent state.

“We can’t tell those countries now – stop doing that. It wouldn’t be serious,” the Minister said.
