Four people were killed in a traffic accident at an exit off the Ibarska road about 60 kilometers from Belgrade, the Serbian state TV reported on Friday, adding that four others were injured.
The four young people died when a BMW crashed into a Dacia outside the town of Lazarevac. The report said that three people died in the Dacia along with a girl in the BMW.
The accident happened at 01:00 am and the section of road was closed until dawn, the RTS said, adding that 63 people died in traffic accidents across Serbia in July this year alone.
The police said in a press release later that the 27 year old driver of the BMW had been arrested for causing the accident.
