The police in Serbia’s northern city of Novi Sad apprehended a man who pretended to be a Russian spy and robbed people for 15,000 Euros with promises to find them jobs, the Beta news agency reported on Wednesday.

The man identified only by his initials and age (M. G, 38), was said to have robbed at least three people offering them employment, investments, loans or business cooperation, introducing himself as a member of the Russian Secret Service Sergey Ivanovic Klyshkin, Novi Sad police said in a statement.
It added the police found fatigues, military caps, forged Croatian ID and a gas gun with ammunition while searching his apartment. The police called on those who had not yet reported the fraud to do that.
