A group of Belgrade elementary and high school students won gold medals at a competition on the environment in Canada, Brainz TV reported.

The kids from the Drinka Pavlovic elementary school and Gimnazija Plus high scholl won two gold medals for the best essays and the best debate team.  

The Serbian team was also the best team at the competition overall. The global school debate was organized by the United Nations, the British Columbia government and the national engineering academies of the US, Great Britain and China, Brainz TV said.

Brainz TV is a platform reporting on science, education and culture and is part of the United Media company which includes N1 TV.
