
Serbian Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and his Hungarian counterpart Sándor Pintér discussed promoting cooperation between the two countries police forces, the Serbian ministry said on Tuesday.
Stefanovic and Pintér said after their meeting in Budapest that the current police cooperation was excellent with no open issues, the press release said.
Stefanovic is quoted as saying that the Serbian police is always trying to improve cooperation and be more efficient in combatting organized crime and corruption as well as what he said are important European issues linked to migration, combatting terrorism and improving the movement of people and goods.
Pintér said they also discussed measures to help speed up the transit of people and improve their security, the press release said.
