Bosnia's Presidency member Milorad Dodik said Friday night that Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation looks like a farce to him, which should serve as additional pressure on Serbia and its President Aleksandar Vucic.

Speaking to Radio-Television Serbia, Dodik said he told Vucic that “everyone should pay more attention to this” and that the people in Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity of Republika Srpska (RS) “expect the Kosovo solution to be treated as an issue concerning all Serbs.”

He argued that the solution to the Kosovo issue cannot be that one people have all the rights which are harmful to the state of Serbia and that a part of the other people, as is the case with the RS, “must keep quiet and suffer the unjust rule of the international factor.”

According to the Bosnian Serb leader, all the political, national and state factors in Serbia must now gather around Vucic, because the “international community will say, as usual, that Serbia must do something about this as well.”

"Both sides must strive for compromise which must be acceptable to all sides,” Dodik concluded.

Haradinaj resigned after being summoned as a suspect by The Hague-based Special Court for war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the 1998-1999 war there.
