The Sentandrejski Boulevard, which was built with an investment of 702 million Serbian Dinars and which is part of the road connecting the northern town of Subotica with Belgrade, was opened on Saturday in the city of Novi Sad.

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlovic, announced more construction of roads in the Vojvodina part of the country, such as the Fruska Gora Corridor, the highway and the fast road Ruma-Sabac and Sabac-Loznica.

"We have implemented everything we planned and agreed on. There is no development without infrastructure, and today we have 40,000 active construction sites in Serbia, compared to the previous years when there were only 2,000 of them,” Mihajlovic said.

“We have more stable finances, we secured the budget and we can invest in the infrastructure,” she said.

Novi Sad’s Mayor Milos Vucevic said that Sentandrejski is the third boulevard being opened in Novi Sad that opens and that there more are being built.
