In a telephone conversation, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan “expressed satisfaction" with the improvement of the political and economic cooperation between Belgarde and Ankara, N1 reported late on Tuesday.

“They said it was good that the two countries formed the Council for Cooperation and agreed the next Council’s meeting will be held during Erdoğan’s official visit to Serbia,” a statement from Vucic’s office said.

It added the two presidents also discussed the situation in the region, and that Erdoğan supported the policy of peace and cooperation conducted by Vucic in the area.

That was, they agreed, the best way to attract investors and secure economic growth.
