Serbia’s Interior Ministry (MUP) said on Tuesday the police apprehended 62 people in separate operations across the country suspected of different crimes, N1 reported.
The arrested are believed to had committed a drug-related crime, carrying and selling arms, explosive devices, massive thefts, illegal border crossings, human trafficking, documents forgery, child pornography, abuse of minors and other serious crimes.
The police also seized different drugs as well as some explosive, riffles, ammunition and detonators, and discovered a marijuana laboratory in Belgrade.
In another development, the police arrested six people suspected of illegally taking the Kosovo Albanians to Western countries, MUP said.
Besides, the police officers confiscated 13,420 Euros, 1,193 dollars, some dinars and several vehicles, two computers, one laptop and an external disc.
