Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Saturday that every leader of the opposition bloc the Alliance for Serbia is there to secure votes of a number of voters but that the actual number of votes they can get is “a one digit number.”
“When they realise they are not doing well with the elections and that people don't want them, they call Jovo Bakic. Only to get to the posts somehow,” Stefanovic told Pink TV, referring to sociologist Bakic, who accused Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and his associates of being linked to the mafia.
Stefanovic said the police arrested a person suspected of attacking a student of the Faculty of Philosophy and Democratic Party activists in Novi Sad University Campus, Dejan Bagaric, and stressed that violence will not be tolerated.
According to the minister, who is a high-ranking member of the ruling SNS party, the opposition iis lying big time when they say that the attacker was set free.
