Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday that “everyone is lost in time and space” in regard to Kosovo.
Speaking at the World Minds Symposium in Belgrade, Vucic said he had been told that the search for a solution has speed up with stronger efforts to resolve the Kosovo issue.
“Pristina cannot consolidate without Serbia and we will do the best we can to preserve peace and stability. We have to do that because of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. We need more economic development,” the Serbian president said.
“I will propose new solutions in September on how to solve the problem of borders and a common market,” he said. He added that “no one will drag Serbia into the European Union only to see it resolve its internal problems afterwards”.
