Kosovo’s police arrested four people suspected of legal transplants and organ trade and complicity in the crime, the Beta news agency reported on Friday.

Three people are held in 48-hours police custody, while one is freed in a regular procedure, a police statement said.

“During control in a private clinic in Pristina region four individuals, two women and two men, were arrested. The action was conducted in cooperation with other institutions,” it added.
