Anti-government protesters in Novi Sad demand police chiefs resignations Izvor: N1

The regular Friday’s anti-regime protest was held in the northern city of Novi Sad in the old fashion, with opposition leaders’ address, and demanded the resignations of the city's police chiefs, N1 reported.

Last Friday, a group of men threw glasses on protesters and nearly missed the head of a three-year-old boy.

After listening to the speeches by Nebojsa Zelenovic, the Mayor of Sabac, the only opposition-held town in Serbia, and Marko Bastac, the head of the single opposition-held Belgrade municipality, the demonstrators demanded the resignation of Novi Sad police chief due to their “inadequate and slow reaction” during the incident last week.
Also on Friday, protests were organised in the western town of Valjevo and the central town of Krusevac.
