Serbia's Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Saturday that the announced lawsuit against him for calling the Kosovo Albanians "Shqiptars" is a "compliment for his previous consistency and fight for the truth."

"I interpret the lawsuit announcement for calling the Kosovo Albanians Shqiptars, as an extension of the prohibition of going to Jasenovac or Kosovo. Serbs who do not keep silent - must be silenced. I'll take the lawsuit as a compliment for consistency and persistent fighting for truth" Vulin told the "Novosti" daily, commenting on the head of Albanian National Minority Council, Ragmi Mustafa's announcements that he was thinking of suing Vulin for "using the degrading term Shqiptar, and thus humiliating Albanians by designating them as second-grade citizens."
