Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic met with the Ambassador of China in Belgrade, expressing great pleasure over his upcoming visit to that country and the meeting with China’s President XI Jinping, the Presidency said on Saturday.

Vucic said he sincerely hopes that President Xi will confirm his intention to visit Serbia again and that he was happy to be able to contribute to Serbia-China relations, which, according to him, have reached the highest point of development in history.

Ambassador Chen Bo said she was glad that President Vucic would pay a visit to her country. She emphasised that the second Belt and Road Forum will gather 40 world leaders.

Serbian President will be one of three leaders to give the closing speech in this event.
