Kosovo’s heads of state and government have not met face-to-face for five months, an unnamed government source told Pristina daily Koha Ditore on Thursday.
The source said that President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj would not meet before the meeting on the Western Balkans in Berlin on April 29. The meeting was initiatied by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron to bring together the presidents and prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo.
“There has been no coordination and I do not expect any before Berlin,” the source told the daily adding that the two officials won’t even travel together.
Thaci and Haradinaj fell out over their views on demarcation with Thaci insisting on what he called a correction of borders while Haradinaj fiercely opposed the idea.
