The Kosovo government has paid the Omnia Strategy firm 500,000 Euros to provide legal advice on a war crimes court, the media in Pristina reported on Wednesday.

The company, reported to be owned by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s wife Cherie, has been advising the government for nine months, T7 TV said.

The KoSSev portal said that the existence of the contract was confirmed to the Pristina TV station by Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri who said that Omnia Strategy was advising Pristina on its behaviour towards Serbia in regard to the Special Court and on documents and regulations.

The portal recalled that Tony Blair’s name was reported to have been linked to the Serbian government but that this was denied by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Blair’s Institute for Global Change.
