Politicians did not take over the ‘One of five million’ protests, and such claims are nothing but a regime spin, Serbia’s opposition leader and head of the Alliance for Serbia, Borko Stefanovic, said in an interview with ‘Blic’ daily.
“These are public protests and politicians didn’t take over control. We attended the protests just like any other weekend,” Stefanovic said.
"The regime is shaken and scared, their ratings began to fall, and the opposition is united with the people. We proved that Vucic is not brave enough to go out in front of the people and that he arrests children," he added.
Commenting on the verdict of the former Bosnian Serb leader and the first President of Bosnia’s Serb-dominated Republika Srpska entity, Radovan Karadzic, who got a life sentence for the crimes against humanity, Stefanovic noted that no one can speak about this on behalf of the Alliance, but as far as he was concerned, anyone who committed any crime should answer for it.
