The Higher Court in Belgrade refused to order detention for three protesters who were part of the crowd that burst into the Serbian state TV (RTS) building during Saturday’s 1 in 5 Million protest.

All three were charged with violent behavior. The court ruled to release them pending trial after a hearing.

Residents of Zrenjanin held a gathering of support for two of the arrested protesters who are from that town in Vojvodina.

Organizers said the protest was not political but was organized to show that they are not violent.
