Opposition leader Bosko Obradovic has sued Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for slander, the Dveri Movement said in a statement on Friday.

The Dveri leader is suing Vucic over claims that Obradovic is a thief, robber and fascist, it added.

“The label fascist is the greatest insult to the Dveri leader and every member of the movement whose heritage is the idea of anti-fascism and we will sue everyone who tries to discredit Dveri and its officials with those insults,” the press release said.

It said that Vucic is “the leader of criminal phalanges sowing fear among the impoverished people of Serbia” and added that he is the last person who should be calling anyone fascist.

“Since he doesn’t dare appear in any TV duel or court hearing, Aleksandar Vucic is obviously brave only when he’s allone in the studio and when no one prevents him from voicing insults and slander,” the press release said.
