Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has repeated his refusal to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, saying that Serbia should recognize Kosovo as a form of apology.
Pristina daily Epoka e Re quoted him as saying that the tariffs will not be revoked as long as he is prime minister.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said it’s clear that Pristina won’t revoke the tariffs soon and warned that the situation could deteriorate. According to him, the Belgrade-Pristina talks won’t continue even if the tariffs are revoked.
“Do people who were victims of genocide and persecution with some 20,000 raped women and 15,000 dead now have to give up something to get recognition,” Haradinaj said.
He added that Serbia should recognize Kosovo to apologize for what it did „not only in the latest war but earlier as well“.
