The Klan Kosova TV station in Pristina reported on Friday that the Republic of Palau in the western Pacific has withdrawn its recognition of Kosovo.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said earlier that an unspecified country would announce on Monday that it was withdrawing its recognition of Kosovo.

Klan Kosova contacted the Kosovo Foreign Ministry for a comment and was told that the report that Palau had overturned its decision to recognize Kosovo was false.
