The new Republika Srpska (RS) Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic will travel to Serbia on his first official visit outside of Bosnia-Herzegovina in January, the RS state TV (RTRS) said on Friday.
Viskovic is expected to go to Serbia on or around January 11 to meet with his counterpart Ana Brnabic and President Aleksandar Vucic. The new prime minister said the RS and Serbian governments are scheduled to hold a joint session in February.
“We have opened the question of some project, primarily the hydro-power potential of the Drina river and the hydro-power facilities. I will do everything to make sure the RS government does its part of the job which is the allocation of a concession to our company before the joint session of our two governments,” Viskovic said.
He said he does not want to waste time on unnecessary procedures but wants to speed everything up.
