One of the leaders of the opposition Alliance for Serbia, Dragan Djilas, said that a gathering planned to take place in Belgrade on Saturday will be a non-political, peaceful protest against violence.

Djilas told Serbia’s Blic that the protest will be aimed at “everything bad in society” and will not include political speeches. Some of the members of the Alliance for Serbia do not agree with those who are to speak at the protest, actors Mirjana Karanovic and Branislav Trifunovic, he said.

He also said that he will this month start forming a political party, gather signatures and register it most likely in February.
