The Italian household appliance maker Ariston is planning to open the first fully automatized production plant in Serbia early next year, the FoNet news agency reported on Wednesday.

The plant, which will be set up in the town of Svilajnac, will make heaters for household appliances and is expected to expost 30 million Dollars worth of products a year.

The first group of employees will travel to Italy in the next few months to train to operate fully automatic equipment and robots, Svilajnac Mayor Predrag Milanovic said, adding that the factory will be supplying Ariston, Bosch, Gorenje and other manufacturers.
