Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met with his Mozambican counterpart Jose Condungua Pacheco and a group of business people in that country’s capital Maputo.

The two ministers said their countries’ could renew economic, political, military and cooperation in education after a long break and recalled the support the people of Mozambique enjoyed from Yugoslavia during their struggle for independence, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a press release, adding that Pacheco “distanced himself from any separatist movement which could contribute to breaking up Serbia and expressed full support for its territorial integrity”.  

Dacic met with a group of business people who expressed interest in promoting trade and urged the signing of inter-state bilateral agreements on economic cooperation and the development of agriculture, the press release said.
