Serbia’s Internal Affairs Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Thursday that no criminal can feel safe while the police continue the battle against drug trafficking.

“The fight against drugs knows no borders or alternatives. We have to be stronger than the dealers. No criminal in Serbia can feel safe at any time. We will intercept everyone and enter every place and that is why the price of drugs is 30-40 percent higher,” the minister told TV Prva.

Speaking about efforts to combat drugs in schools, Stefanovic said the ministry and police are working on prevention with police officers holding classes in schools and for parents to help them recognize the potential danger for their children.
