A Belgrade newspaper said on Thursday that Serbia’s new Finance Minister Sinisa Mali is “poorer” now than when he was Mayor of Belgrade.

Danas daily said that Mali reported monthly earnings of 340,000 Dinars (about 2,900 Euros) as mayor – a salary of 120,000 Dinars, 176,000 Dinars a month as chairman of the board of the Komercijalna Bank and 44,000 Dinars as a member of the Serbian Clinical Center board. Mali also reported that he owned three large apartments, two garages and two cars as well as a consulting company.

According to the Anti-Corruption Agency, the only regular monthly income that Mali has is the salary of the finance minister whose size the daily did not specify, adding that the finance minister reported ownership of one apartment and garage with no mention of cars or shares in companies.
