Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg that Serbia owes her country gratitude as one of its biggest bilateral donors.
“Considering our good political relations, we hope that economic cooperation will intensify in future and that there will be more Norwegian investments in Serbia,” Vucic is quoted as saying in a press release from his cabinet.
Speaking at a working dinner for the Norwegian Prime Minister, the president said that the good relations are confirmation of both countries’ desire to promote a political dialogue at the highest level and singled out Norway’s readiness to help Serbia achieve its strategic goal of membership in the European Union.
Solberg said Serbia enjoys Norway’s full support on its European path and in all reform processes. She said the two countries economic relations and cultural ties are also good.
