Kosovo refugees left without power Izvor: N1

Refugees on Kosovo’s Mt Brezovica have been without electricity for two weeks, local TV Kim reported, adding that the power was cut over unpaid bills.

Some 300 Serb refugees displaced from other parts of Kosovo are housed in old hotels and apartments on what was once a popular winter resort, TV Kim said and added that only part of their power bills are paid by the refugee commissariat.

The refugees said that the Strpce municipal authorities are working with the Ministry for Communities and Return of Refugees to find a solution, adding that there are no indications when power will be restored.
