Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said her government would invest 65 million Euro in IT infrastructure over the next three years.

“The goal of this government is to take a step away for today’s investment-based economy to an economy based on innovation,” she said at the opening of an innovation laboratory at the Science Technology Park in Belgrade.

“Once we get to that point, the Serbian economy will be competitive,” she added.

The opening of the laboratory was attended by the Ivo Germann of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The Science Technology Park in Belgrade was set up with the support of the Swiss government.
