Problems should be solved in a dialogue, but any suggestion will be met with criticism, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic has said on the Kosovo issue.
He added that any solution to the Kosovo issue “would not be painless for the Serbs”.
Speaking after meeting Winfried Kretschmann, the Prime Minister of German Baden-Württemberg state, in Belgrade, Vucic said he had planned his platform on Kosovo for April, but added he was not sure that would be possible.
“I will make it public if it proves possible that it will not weaken Serbia’s position”, he said, adding he would "work hard" in a search for a compromise.
Vucic reiterated he was not in favour of the frozen conflict while “waiting for better times. We will only meet worse times”, he said.
He acknowledged that Germany had a different position regarding Kosovo, but added: “Let me someone explain how would Serbia’s future look like without Germany”.
